"PXE-E01: PCI Vendor and Device ID do not match"

Such a message will not be observed in a properly written BIOS. If the system BIOS properly initializes a PCI option ROM, it should pass the PCI bus/device/function codes in register AX. This error is displayed only if the PCI device in the AX register doesn't match the UNDI device.
